Taskpaper is a great application, I love that is simply works on formatted text.
Feature Request: Rules Engine
A Rules engine would allow taskpaper users to customize task paper to act for them when editing. Rules could work like mail where each rule has a criteria and then a series of actions. The actions could be taken from the current task paper menu items with some helpful extras added (like "add text", "add to ical")
With a rules engine ical integration could be done
I don't know how it happens (I'm likely at fault), but sometimes a project heading gets deleted and all of the todos from the next project run into the previous. I use TaskPaper to catalogue ideas for long term projects (like post ideas for various blogs) - in other words, I don't 'complete' lots of my projects. Is there a way for me to protect project headings from accidental deletion? Cheers! TaskPaper rocks.
I think it would be a great idea to have a command/keychord that would move whatever line your cursor is on up or down in the list.
Having tasks in the "right" order is a good thing.
Thanks.
Are there any plans to make URLs and URIs clickable in TaskPaper? I frequently record web addresses as part of my notes, and I also like to refer to email messages via MailTags-generated URIs. Making them clickable would add a lot for me. At the moment, I'm getting allong by highlighting the URI text and right-clicking it, then selecting Open URL from the contextual menu.
