Time to pick up Jaeda and then head down to my parents. Tomorrow I get to try baking pizza in their new masonry heater! Highest temp I’ve ever used for cooking pizza is 550 in my oven. The heater should do at least 700, maybe more. Taking my camera!

TaskPaper 2.0 on Monday!
I think.
Been writing documentation for the last few weeks. Even made a screencast. Now I’m taking some time to clean off my desk, and make a few final tweaks to TaskPaper. Looking forward to Monday, it’s been a year and 2 weeks since TaskPaper 1.0.3 came out. Phew!
Late fall skyline.
Two victories. First, after eating almost whole pan of sticky buns, I threw the last two into the compost this morning. Second, at lunch I resisted and didn’t pull them out of the compost to eat!
Apple’s Pages application is near perfect for creating a PDF User’s Guide. I just wish it would export the table of contents as a nice PDF outline. It’s possible to add the outline after the fact with PDFClerk Pro, but that adds a painful step to the process. Come on Pages!
cPanel is why I’m so excited to move from away from standard web hosting and into Google’s App Engine cloud. I no longer have to pretend that I know how to manage a server!
I now use:
- Google Apps for email.
- Google Groups for support.
- Google Analytics for web stats.
- Google App Engine for web hosting.
- Google Checkout for payment processing.
I hope they stay not evil!
The two third party services that I use to run Hog Bay Software are:
- GitHub for source code management.
- tumblr.com for this blog.
