Background color of the current line

Flashing Black Screen

When I blank the screen to write, after about 15 seconds, the partially illuminated pixels in the black screen begin to pulsate. This is very distracting. I'm in evaluation mode and I'm interested to know if anyone has had this issue, what it's all about, and whether or not it can be fixed.

Image as full-screen background?

Several times I've seen the request to have different forms of paper as backgrounds in WR. This might be a bit superflous, but has anyone suggested to simply allow image-files (of a certain dimension perhaps) as backgrounds been made?

Not being a programmer I have no idea how hard it is to implement, but it seems to be an easy solution which would allow people to "skin" the full-screen environment anyway they wanted.

Right now I've got a fairly nice off-white shade, which I basically ripped from Scrivener's full-screen mode, but I've been thinking some kind of texture would add a bit of character.

I realise this is pure eye-candy, but it could be simple way to make WriteRoom "pop" even more than it does now. And it'd sure look good in a few screenshots on the front page ;)

trouble with dark colour schemes

Great product, man, except for a minor bug:

I like to work with dark backgrouds, so I've changed the bg colour to #000. Trouble is, I can no longer see the text cursor blink: it stays black, too, with no option to change it. This makes it impossible to see where the cursor is until I start typing.

Any chance you can allow users to customise the cursor colour, too?

Transparent Background for Taskpaper

Hi, I just recently purchased Taskpaper through the recent Macheist promo. I had been trying out Things, Omnifocus, and iGTD previously, and I found them to be way too complicated for my tastes. I love the simple text based approach of Taskpaper! Great job!

However, I noticed that I like to keep the Taskpaper document open all the time on my desktop. The problem is that since it is always on my desktop, the wallpaper is always obstructed. It would be nice to be able to set the "alpha" transparency value for the Taskpaper background.

Thanks again for such a wonderful app!
