WriteRoom (Preview)
Distraction-free writing
Your computer is a good place to work. It's also full of distractions. WriteRoom is a place to write at your computer, but away from it.

WriteRoom uses Markdown, plain text that formats as you type. You just write. A note grows into a report, a thesis or a book, ready to export to Word, rich text or HTML.
Built for your Mac
A full-screen terminal is one way to use WriteRoom, but not the only way. It's also a native Mac app, at home on your desktop.
