Hey master programmer, thanks for developing this great word processor. On the advice of a friend I started using it two days ago and I am hooked. I don't think I'll ever go back to MS word. Thank you for inventing a quiet, hassle free program. I'm realizing that I haven't been clenching my jaw quite so much.
Only foible is that I'd like to jump to pages or even just scroll through them super quickly. I can feel a bit trapped in the current paragraph. One of best things about using the typewriter was after finishing a difficult passage, picking up the typed pages and flipping through them. It'd be nice to do the virtual equivalent every now and then fan myself with a whiff of my manuscript. My writing is much better than this in writeroom.
But I ain't complaining. This is the antidote right here.

Ha, thanks! Glad it's working well for you.
Flipping pages... not sure exactly what you mean... but if (in full screen mode) you move the mouse all the way to the right you can grab and drag a scrollbar for quickly going through thing. You can also choose the menu Format > Wrap to Page, if you want the text divided into pages...
Still not the same as fanning physical pages, but maybe those things will help if you didn't already know about them.

Jesse, if you want to make a virtual "flipping" effect, you should check out the Core Animation API. It's what iTunes uses for the Cover Flow view, and would be quite cool (albeit totally unnecessary).
