I'm having trouble setting up some preferences :
I would like to have 80 characters width in full screen mode (like it is by default in the plain text window mode) but for some reason the page width preference in full screen is in pixels and not in characters. I think it would be more consistent if the two options were in the same unit.

I agree. But at the moment it's just easier to do in pixels... if I do it in characters then I have to watch for fon't changes and update things. But it's on my todo list.
