Bug in typewriter scrolling

Posted August 4, 2007 by Mathias Meyer

Hi!

There's a small issue in the typewriter editing mode. It occurs when I'm editing a longer document that will at least cover more than one page (as in it must be scrollable). When I'm editing around the end of the text so that the last line is visible, and then delete a random line, except the last one, so that the following lines go up one line, then the last line is duplicated. Not in the document though, there's just the ghost of it hanging around after the end of the text.

Cheers, Pom

I am still experiencing the same problem. Has there been any resolution or is this bug on the list of items to fix?

I am currently using WriteRoom ver 2.3.7 (44) on Mac OS X 10.4.11.

Aside from this bug driving me a little bonkers at times (when I delete lines in the middle of a document and then see the bottom duplicate itself), I love WriteRoom. Thanks.

Do you have access to a 10.5 computer? If so can you try the development version of WriteRoom 3.0 and see if the problem still happens for you in the new version?
