TaskPaper 2.0 release plan

Nick said it, we are almost ready for prime time... Kinda :) I've actually still got a bunch of things on my todo-list, but I thought it would be a good time to update people on TaskPaper 2.0 release plans. I think my last update that actually listed a target date was targeting last January. Opps.

The new target date is mid september. I think in most places the app is plenty ready now, but mid september will (hopefully) give me/us a chance to get Taskpaper.com up and also add synching support to it from TaskPaper.app. That way we can release it all at once and hopefully create a bigger bang. Also leopard adoption rates are still going slower then I had hoped, so I don't feel bad about waiting a few more months to release a leopard only app. Finally if we pushed things we might be able to release sooner, but that would still be releasing in the middle of the summer when many people are (I hope) not at their computers. So september seems like a good time all around.

Hey Jesse,

I think this is a good plan. One big release (with TaskPaper.com included) will create some nice effects. Add in my support for TaskPaper.com on Windows PC's and we can hopefully get a nice tidal wave going :)

I think that what I meant was that TP 52 bug fix for crash on launch was ready for prime time. TP 2.0 needs a lot of polish before release (given what I have seen of 51 / 52). September sounds like a good plan.
