Attachments in TaskPaper

NOTE: Just noticed, TaskPaper 2 Dev (51) has the Email functionality (though it displays as message://%3CBAY105--gibberish-80@phx.gbl%3E) - close enough. Would like to see Files as well.

TaskPaper is one awesome application. However, I have one feature I'd like to see: file / mail attachments, like so:

Alt

Also like in iCal:

Alt

Any way that it's implementable into TaskPaper? That would be killer.

Thanks!

Embedded attachments aren't possible in TaskPaper, and will likely never be possible. But you can link to files/emails externally. You already found out about the emails, files work in the same way. Drag and drop a file from the finder onto your TaskPaper document, and a hyperlink to that document will be created in TaskPaper.

Hello,

The problem is when dropping email on TaskPaper I got this: - email links appearance
message://%3C49B3C01F-C406-4B4B-B00C-D515F3CFBC93@hogbays...%3E

is it possible to have this: "Re: TaskPaper 2.0 dev. 51 crashes on launch." from Jesse Grosjean jesse@hogbaysoftware.com

I've tried in Things and it works. It's a bit more clear than numbers?

Don't you think?

if it's not possible because of plain text issue, I'll understand.

Nicolas

Jesse, When I click on a link to a document in TP, it shows me the file in the finder. Could you also get TP to open the document ?

I'm just using apples default behavior... I think they must have recently changed it, because I think it always used to open the file. Not sure why they changed it, but they must have had some reason, so I probably won't change the default, but in the next version if you hold down the command key while clicking it will open the file instead of just reveal it.
