Just a quick update. I just reached a milestone of sorts with the new text system that I've been working on. Today for the first time I've integrated that new code with the TaskPaper project. Yeah! I still have a bunch of "putting back together" before I can make a new beta release, but I'm hopeful that I'll have something new in about a week. And this time I really hope there will not be the need for any more major backtracks and overhauls. Watch out 2.0 here I come!

Extremely excited! When Sparkle is checking for updates, will it tell me about any beta release? Will the RSS feed update? Is there a way for me to get on board with the new beta on day one?

No sparkle won't tell you about development releases that I make. If you want to learn about those you need to keep an eye on these user forums, that's where I post the links. You can subscribe to an RSS feed of new topics in the TaskPaper form from this page:

About a week... ha!
But progress is still being made. Tabs are back and looking better then ever in the development version. Drag and drop is also progressing. Will make a release when things are a bit further along.
